Power Yoga – MDY

Power Yoga or Mariannick‘s Dynamic Yoga (MDY) classes focus on 3 aspects :

strength, flexibility and endurance

Power Yoga
The Classes are intense and tone various muscle groups, increase energy levels and help those who need to lose weight. The benefits of MDY are felt on every level :
  • asanas (postures),
  • kriyas (cleansing of internal organs),
  • pranayama (strengthening of respiratory system),
  • bandhas (restoration of hormonal balance),
  • relaxation (de-stressing) and
  • meditation (calming the mind).
The classes help the body as a whole to function more efficiently.
Classes are conducted in English (French possible) and last around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Bring your mat, a towel and water.
About the Teacher
Mariannick is French and has been living in India (Bangalore) since 2007. She practiced Hatha yoga for several years and eventually trained to become a teacher of the Total Yoga concept, an offshoot of Bharat Thakur school of thought.
Schedule : Monday & Wednesday 9.30am / Tuesday & Thursday 5pm
Fee : Rs 1650 per month (8 Classes) / Rs 350 per drop in
